If E wins trick 1, why doesn't he switch to a spade, shift the 9 to W and this is now straight off.

I'm not familiar with this program. I played the hand, 3NS+2. But then, I always play as though I'm playing IMPs.

Exactly, what you did is OK at IMPs, but I think you have to go for it at MPs.

I played exactly like kenberg, which is bad news for kenberg. Would love to understand the correct LOP from both declarer's and east's perspective.

The key is that with Q9xx west should cover, so he would very rarely have them. Maybe I should give the heart 9 to west to make it more plausible.

I forgot to specify MPs, so many players just played low heart from dummy from the start as many here did :(. There is also a beginner+ problem if you end up in 4 where running 10 early is a bad idea.

I also think you should reduce the quality of E's spades, Q432 or similar makes the spade switch less attractive, with what he has, leading the 10 or 8 requires only K9xx from partner to defeat this by force.
