You should fix the first poll question so that we can make more than one response.

Based on OP's selection of this forum, it seems very likely that pass and double are both going to be LAs, but double is the one suggested by South's hesitation, so North is probably constrained to pass even if the vast majority would have doubled after considering pass.

I guess this thread shows the point of polls, because not only would I double I would not consider there to be any other logical alternative. If an opponent doubled on the North hand after a slow pass from South I wouldn't bother calling the director.

In fact, I would take it a step farther. I believe PASS is so bad it could only have been induced by some UI...North passing could be a mistaken interpretation of the rules after a slow pass or it could be an accurate read of a L23 violation slow pass by his partner and thus a violation in and of itself.
