This is a classic hand,minor suit is 7-card solid suit with weak 4-card major at the same time.
I have played this kind of hands for several times, I know this is a Gib bidding style.
Do you like this bidding style?

I would open 3NT on north hand (if gambling). Else 3C is fine, maybe even a little heavy despite the vul.

I do open pre-empts with weak 4cM (and just about anything in 3rd), after all when you have 7-4 you normally belong in the 7-suit anyway. I imagine the times you miss a 4M game in a 4-4 fit are more than offset by the times you keep opponents out of theirs.

GIB plays 3NT opener as 25-27 balanced, so that's out.
I'd open the hand 1♣ but that's just me. I don't think it's a good 3♣ opener even vul but it does fit GIB's rules and we can't expect judgment from a computer.

Funny explanation: 3♣ promises ♣Q? Or should it be understood as "at least headed by the queen"?

The four-card major doesn't bother me but the hand is way too strong. Open 1♣, 4♣ or 5♣.

It is my understanding that GIB requires at least 11HCP, regardless of distribution, to open at the 1 level. It appears that this is what we don't like.

In the last GIB update, they replaced the 8421-style of indicating suit strength with showing specific honor cards in the description. In one of the follow-up threads, it was indicated that things like "♣Q" should be replaced with "♣Q+" in the future. And, I believe, the vulnerable opening preempt requirement is 3+ 8421points, which means the updated description should be "♣QJ+".

This preempt is a 5-loser hand, way to good to preempt. If partner has a red suit ace instead KQ /Q 6♠/6♣ slam is 50%

This hand can take it slow and see if partner has something, if they don't bid a bunch of ♣

If your playing gambling you can describe your hand with 3N but GIB doesn't play gambling so think should open 1♣.
