A different theme for trump play on this hand. You can see the first two tricks by clicking the next button. They lead a diamond and both follow low to the first round of spades. Take it from there. I rate this one about on par with the other 7♠ contracts I have posted tonight. I will post a couple tougher ones tomorrow (well, later today).

Just for the record, I do not approve of the auction which is shown. This is what happened at the table, however.

Trump to ace. If 0-3 I'm down.
Trumps 2-1: ruff club, trump to dummy, ruff club, ruff ♦T, ♣A pitch ♥. If clubs have the decency to be 4-3 or ♣K comes down, I found a home for my second heart and the third goes on the ace.
If trumps are 3-0 my third dummy entry is also a trump, and I might go down if W has a club singleton.
If ♣K is with 5 card length I fall back on heart finesse, same as I do if trumps are 3-0 and the ♣K doesn't show up after ruff ruff ace.

If clubs are 4-3, somebody revoked, you mean 4-4.

Until you establish dummy's long suit and claim, and the defence point out they've still got a trump, then the other defender points out that they have one too
