for the ACBL convention card please change the puppet Stayman to be in black in its 2 spots 1N & 2N.
It is no longer alertable so shouldn't be in red. been so for over a year.

his will quickly solve some arguments when a person thinks it is alertable.

1N - 3 is alerted.

1N 2 is not alerted, rebids by opener are.
2N 3 is not alerted, rebids by opener are.

The checkboxes for Puppet Stayman on the CC are for 1NT-2 and 2NT-3. These are the auctions that became non-alertable last year, so I changed them from red to black as requested.

1NT-3 is just a text field that you fill in with the meaning. It's alertable no matter what the meaning (even if it's natural, I think), and I left it red.

This isn't correct. In the "Not Alerted" section of the chart for "Responses to NT Opening Bids and NT Overcalls" is "Three-level natural responses whether or not it is a jump response".

You're right. To confirm, the Alert Procedure says:

Quote

6) 3,,,: If natural, they are not Alertable. All other uses must be Alerted

The CC doesn't have a way to specify that the alertability of a bid depends on the meaning. The standard ACBL CC has all these lines red.
