Hi all and happy New Year

I am trying to install the old BBO version and i cannot find it available any more… Is this correct, or i just don't find it?

I need also the old VERSION 1 (as TDs call it), as i cannot do everything i need, specially as TD, with the new web Version.,, (which i prefer ,,,,)

what can i not do?

1. I cannot choose players by country in the new version

2. I cannot enter a chat room

3. as a TD, i cannot upload LIN files, such as rules etc.,

4. as a TD, i cannot chat to the lobby before tourney starts… or… I can send a message, but i cannot (as all players using the new version) see all the tourney chats (i repeat: before the tourney starts)

any comments???

thank you

I've got to ask, because it seems to happen quite often: why do people post two messages like that: a quote of the original message in the first message, and then the reply in the next message? Is there something confusing about typing the reply below the quoted material when you click the Reply button?

Probably the button titles? You want to reply, so you click on "reply". Then you get to a screen that has a button called "add reply" so you click on that to add your reply and boom, you get a post with only the quote.

Yeah, after I posted the question, I noticed this and came to the same conclusion.

I'm working on changing that button to "Submit Reply". Currently about 25% of forum users will see the new wording, hopefully I'll get it propagated to the rest soon (we use a server cluster, but the forum customization tool only updated one machine).
