why not bid 3D?

My 2♦ showed 4 card holding at least,ok? after my DBL,why not rebid to raise to 3♦? what's the meanings of 3♣?Do GIB not know we have found 8 card trump fit in ♦.so I think GIB should bid 3♦ is a reasonable final contract.do you agree?

Seems pretty clear-cut, yes. No reason to assume you're exactly 0=5=4=4 which is the only shape where bidding clubs is right.
