Eric Rodwell had ever said that judgement allowed in any situation.for this hand,I guess that there were many of chances to make 5♦,but Robot raised to 6♦ arbitrarily,I don't know the exact reasons.

why do Robot raise to 6d arbitrarily?

Well, it has a 6 count opposite a hand thats shown 29-30 total points (as ridiculous as that sounds), 6D doesn't seem that bad.

GIB punts slams a lot based on general values when it lacks room to check for aces. It will also freely raise your own slam bid, itself possibly a bit speculative, to 7.
Here your 5D bid showed 29-30 total points, of which you are well short. North has 7 total points which is near max in range of 0-9 so far shown.
4D by you would have been a strong bid, perhaps enough.
Shame that GIB does not play Lebensohl in this situation.
