the requirements in the pass out seat are hugely "relaxed" so we do not put too
much pressure on the direct seat to act. It is true we will almost never play
2s most of the time we will regrettably be in at least 3s and a fair amount of the time
we will be in 4s (also regrettably) but the vast majority of these (regrettable) actions will
have fairly small negative scores that will lose little to 2h making. A reasonable amount
of the time our 2s bid will hit gold and instead of minus 110 we will be anywhere from
plus 140 to plus 650. That is what makes this rather weak looking specimen of a hand
worth bidding in the pass out seat (not in the direct seat).

ok thanks folks... I did bid 2 spades but after seeing my hand partner thought I was crazy to bid (the result is a bit irrelevant)

Feel that where I play everyone is so conservative i'm sure if you asked ppl there what they thought of 2S they would say 100% crazy

I know most voters and commentors are expert or at least very good advanced so maybe I have to conform to my level a bit more and pass this kinda hand
