GIB should not pull 3NT to 4Major to play in a 7 card fit.

While i agree with your objection to the 4S bid, is it worth pointing out that your 3NT bid showed 3 more HCP and 2 more total points than you actually held? Whether 4S would have been so bad in the long term had you held the extra values promised I cannot say. Perhaps others can sim it.
