So, having denied game interest and having received no further encouragement from partner, North shoots for game, with a singleton in a suit being strongly bid by the opponents. "Likely stop in H". Heh!
Result -4 for 200 away. Not a massive IMP loss, as the entire bidding and play was replicated throughout most of the room, South being effectively a spectator.
Given that they did not find the double, I suppose you could look on it as a good sac v 4H that no-one was bidding. Every cloud, I guess ...
