Hi,
When you use "chat to tournament" do players registered receive it:
a) Before the tournament starts?
b.) After the tournament ends, for as long as the result appears on the tournament screen?
c) If you send a message before the tournament starts will people registered on the partnership desk receive it?

A) will be seen to those who are currently in the "tournament area of your tourney), so NOT seen by registerd players if they are elsewhere
B)Same, those that stay in your tournament area after finisching your tourney will see your tourneychat, togheter with all kibbers and players still playing it
C) same as A
"tournament area of your tourney"= the window that displays info on your tourney, not the general tournamentwindow
Hope its understandable and correct

Hi Kathryn,
I know your problem. I had it similar, when I began hosting torneys.
It would be nice, of you could tell all registered people the important things about your tourney.
But believe me it is futile and not worth the effort to change the software.
Most guys never read rules, never read chat-info, never come to this forum, never hear what someone else has to say.
Post your rules in the *.linfiles, decide accordingly and if someone doesn't agrre with your decision, tell him, he should have read your rules.
If someone becomes rude
tell it abuse@.... (UDAY)
Don't try to be perfect in hosting tourneys, just host. Most people are glad, if there is a tourney, they can play, forget the others.
Regards
Al
