I suppose that it is POSSIBLE that the auction might have taken a different turn had I given an honest response to Stayman. I shall never know.
4N was RKCB in Diamonds.
Over 5N (promising all key cards) I felt that if I do anything other than show a side King then I am wresting the captaincy of the auction from partner in so doing, and he is not thereafter invited to the party. 6N would have been a great score.
