Has anyone ever seen a player on vugraph fail to open 1NT on a hand like these in the appropriate range?

Thank you for all the answers!

What about 1NT opening with 3-2-2-6(m) hand? I personally do like to open hands with NT whenever there is no really huge reason not to do so.

Yes, it's good to do so. Don't forget to upgrade 17-counts though.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Thank you, gwnn. Do you mean that 2-3-2-6 should open 1m with 17HCP because it's too good for 1NT?

Yes, so you rebid either 2NT or 3m after partner bids 1M.
