.........
3-3
3-4 (cubeid)
4(cuebid)-blackwood
all keycards-7 spades

7NT is too difficult for me.

NS How to bid the best contract?

My scheme using ahydra's suggestion of showing a side suit first rather than shortness :
1NT - 2NT
3H ( showing "good" 4+cd side suit w/ at least 1 Ctrl [ A or K ] AND shortness elsewhere )
..... - 3S! ( asks )
??
3NT ( shortness )
4C ( shortness; "bad" hand [ no other feature ] )
4D ( shortness & Diam Ctrl )
4H ( shortness & at least a 2nd card of top 3; NO Ctrl )
4S ( shortness, 2nd card, and Ctrl )

After:
4H ( now showing Q in addition to K )
..... - 7S ( counting 5s, 4h, 2d, 1c and -ruff in South hand if North had 3 cards -- South pitches loser on )

After 5H - 6D! = ( skipping the 5NT K-ask ) asks for 3rd Rnd Ctrl :
??
.. 6S = No 3rd Rnd Ctrl
.. 7S = x x doubleton
..6NT = Q
.. 7D = Q J

My GF raise is 3, which puts me at an immediate disadvantage. Still,

1 - 3;
3 = extras with shortage
... - 3 = relay
4 = singleton club
... - 4 = asking bid
5 = heart control + 2 or 5 key cards + Q (or 6 spades) + K
... - 5NT = K, red queen?
6 = Q only
... - 7 = that will do

I cannot see a way to distinguish the OP hand from AKxxxx KQx xxx x other than by relaying:

1 - 1NT = INV+ relay
2 = 4+ hearts
... - 2 = GF relay
3 = 6421
... - 3 = relay
3 = min
... - 4 = relay
4 = 4 controls
... - 4NT = relay
5 = and controls, no control
... - 5 = relay
5NT = no A
... - 6 = relay
6 = 2 of top 3 spades, 2 of top 3 hearts, no Q
... - 7NT
(-: Zel :-)
