If there is one area of the game where I do NOT expect GIB to err it is in its defensive play after trick 9. Not that I am complaining, as it netted me 97.62% of the matchpoints.
HJ led, won with the Q.
Cashed all the Clubs, West discarding a Diamond and a Spade.
I exited with DK. West won DA and exited with D

So in the vague hope that West had QJxx of Spades and the last Diamond I exited with D6. Spotlight on West.

West decided to lead the Q of Spades (Eh???). Which I ducked, and then won the Spade continuation, but imagine my surprise when East popped up with the J. All West had to do was underlead the Q.

NOT something I expect from GIB. Try as I might I cannot construct a hand where leading the Q gains.
