GIB seems to be rather optimistic in its use of keycard.

I've gotten a number of bad boards with auctions that end up as following

4NT (RKCB) - 5 (0-3 Keycards)
5 - 6 (3 Keycards)

I'm used to a style in which you bid slam with the strong hand type.
GIB seems to use keycard off 4-5 controls

Thanks for reporting.

What was the auction up to this moment?

If the blackwood was over spades then 5 for GIB could be ask for queen of trumps and 6 to be Queen+K?

Currently GIB shouldn't consider moving over appointed contract. It's subordinate to 4NT player and would only answer, not move up.

The only exception (still currently) is that if the blackwood is over suit X, GIB would pass only on 5,6,7 in that suit X or in 6NT. Otherwise it will move to closest call to correct.

Very likely in next version v28 human-player would be allowed to ask GIB in particular suit ( although it might be in contradiction with what GIB expects ) and to select contract in his suit where player has shown already enough cards.

I.e.

1 - 2/2
2 - 3/3
4NT ( over second minor ) - 5 something
5 something ( ? for queen/king) - 5/6 something
6/7
which GIB would pass, instead of as currently shift to 7 in the minor ot 7NT.
