I am usually wrong in this situation, so take this answer for what it is worth (probably not much). I pass without a care in the world, and without appearing to give the hand much thought. If you sit there and think about it and then pass, well for sure your side will play 1♥. If you pass without distress, you might get a chance to find a better fit later.

I'll pass.
If partner has 4♠ and a good enough hand that game is in the picture, I'd expect him to usually double (I prefer to double with 4-5 majors and a good hand). So bidding 1♠ seems more likely to reach a poor 4-3 spade fit than do anything productive.
Given the really soft values in this hand, I'd expect to have trouble making 4♥ if partner has say 15-16 hcp with 6♥. It's conceivable we might have 3NT opposite the right max, but this is somewhat thin for a 1NT bid and I'd expect to get too high more often than I reach a good game here. I do think 1NT is the best of the non-pass options.

If I can bid a forcing 1S, I would do this, but I dont play this, so I pass.
2C is certainly a valid alternative, it is close.
With kind regards
