Hi all. I have been using BBO regularly since 2005. I just got a new computer & downloaded the new version. It is brilliant except for 1 major aspect. You cannot select out what type of tables that are not full, that you want to view. For example- to see only the advanced tables. This means there is a long list of tables & if you want to see who's playing on them before you sit, the vacancy could well have gone. The old BBO download has this facility.
This is so important to me for playing happily on BBO, I have returned to the old inferior version!
If this aspect could be incorporated, the newer version would be wonderful. If you get this done, please do let me know so I can swap back again.

Click on the tab that says Open Tables.

You are correct, this is not possible with the new client. However, with the old client, I have virtually never used this feature, because it depends on the self-rating of players which is not accurate at all. Rather, I try to find friend who want to play with me, usually in a tourney.
