Many people like inverted minor raises of 1C with only 4 of the suit. I don't. Am barely willing to raise 1D in rare instances with only 4.

Opener should be able to rely on at least an 8-card fit as the auction continues. Some you you might be starting with a six-card fit.

Wrong forum. N&B players need to nail down basic auctions before adding gadgets.
