Bold = BBF regular on the team, italics = BBF irregular on the team. Apologies to anyone I've missed. I thought there was a chance I'd be playing Gnasher in round 1 but, as always, there were a few teams seeded 11-18 that I thought would be below us. Wank is our only player in the top 16 seeds [Edit: I missed David Burn first time, sorry] but I anticipate a couple more BBF teams winning their triangles/head-to-head.

De Wijs is seeded 18, Verhees/van Prooijen are seeded 17. If they were both one place higher they would have been facing off in round 1! Other big names include Brogeland and Lindqvist playing for Gillis.

I would presume that you were not referring to these two:

but there again, as you carefully wrote 11-18 rather than 11-16, maybe not.

I thought it was done mostly Gold points with arbitrary weighting for overseas players, and some weighting for how one did the previous year.

Correct  BTW, "us" was supposed to refer to both myself and Gnasher, I thought 18 and 15 respectively was possible.

And yes, it's just done on golds for English+Welsh players I believe.

yes mickyb you must be terribly upset with your low seeding and corresponding 1st round draw.

    paulg no doubt similarly unimpressed.

Arbitrary is the word. What, you've only won just the one Bermuda Bowl? Obviously, a few decent runs in the NICKO have to be considered more important.

Far more teams play in the NICKO than the Bermuda Bowl. I seem to recall Andrew Robson saying in the Times, that the NICKO was more difficult to win than the Gold Cup. By a strange coincidence that was after winning the NICKO and shortly before his first Gold Cup win.

I am not gonna lie I control Fed for allerton and hinden and could not find them so I quit :( What's the deal there?

Also the biggest names in the event are BAKHSHI and HANLON imo. Protectors of the realm.

PhilKing lost to Gillis [Salisminde, Brogeland, Lindqvist] in the last 12 having beating Verhees-Van Projieen and Jason+Justin Hackett in the previous two rounds. The other two Phils went out in the round of 7, having beaten Hauge [Grotheim, Tundal, Svendsen] along the way.
