I am at a lost reading the ACBL tourney results. There are a few 1s and 2s and the ranking does not seem sometimes follwing the MPs/IMPs. Are they divided into NS and EW?

Pair events are usually broken into multiple sections.
Each section is scored separately for NS and EW.

Thus, a typical 20 table game will have 2 sections and 4 first places. NS 1 in each section, EW 1 in each section.

The scores are listed in overall order, for no particular reason. I keep telling myself I should display pair events by direction within section instead of what I do now, and not bother to show the overall ranking. I suppose I should...
