This time with 6xx. Should the x be better defined with 3+H 3+S, 2- D? I don't know if I'd require 16+, maybe 14+ total points?

Maybe it doing a highpoint penalty !?
by that i mean it had 6 pts (or 8 pts in 2nd hand) or whatever and partner has good hand.
it runs some simulations gets 50.1% of -1 so it leaves double in for +200.

madness going for low-level penalty when your side has probable fit, and our side likely has no trump tricks

That was a bug in v25. Should be fixed since v26 ( current at the moment ).
