I know that similar topics have been discussed hundred times here. Still, you would like
to know other's opinion, when you are confronted with something special....

Non-vulnerable with opponents vulnerable, your hand is

x---AQJxx---xxx---xxxx .

The opponent on your right side starts the bidding with 4S (explained as "a general block",
the opponents play together for the second time in their life). The bidding continues:

YOU
4S-----pass-----pass-----5C
pass---pass-----5S------pass
pass---???

What would you do?

I would have bid 6♣ directly just to make them take the last guess but I don't win more than my share of these.

If it's a long team match it can pay dividends by exploiting an in your face attitude.

6♣. It might be making, 5♠ might be making, and they may bid on to 6♠.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Yes, but as the Whiz, we would do it on the previous round.
