I have noticed that some players are being disconnected and then coming back fairly quickly. I know this is happening to my partner. He says it reconnects automatically. It happens both when he uses chrome and the older windows client.

What could be causing this. It seems to be within the last 14 days.

I am often get disconnected if playing from IPAD. If I am not touching screen for a couple of minutes (beenig a dummy) BBO get disconnected. I guess it can be changed somewhere in IPAD settings, just to lazy to look for.

I had it happen yesterday a ton using the mobile BBO client on Android 2.3.4. For me it wasn't the case that the phone went to sleep or anything, I was touching the screen to keep it active. I wasn't sure if it was BBO or my connectivity (which seemed fine otherwise). It was annoying as it meant that a tournament that I had signed up for ended up unregistering me. I was in my car about 3 minutes from home, so most of the tournament would have been played from my desktop, but I've been using the mobile client to register for events when I'm going to miss the start like that.

I can notice disconnections when logging in from a weak internet in hotels or hot spots.

I think that is perhaps what it is. I wonder if "time to live" can be adjusted server side.
