I am pleased to announce that next Saturday, the forums will be represented by Han-MikeH and PaulG-GipsonA. I am greatly looking forward to this pairing and wish our players the best of luck!

I can't seem to come up with anything as catchy as Gnan or Hasher... the best I can do is Hangreaves.

Wow, someone did a good job convincing Mike to come out of bridge retirement for this game.
Good luck guys!

I just sent han a pm telling him I can't play.

I have the flu that's plaguing NA, and have been off work since last week. While I am coming out of it, I can't take the time to play on Saturday: I have way too much work that has to be done, since I have missed essentially a week of work. I have cases coming up to trial, as well as a trip to our Appellate court later this month.

I want to express publicly my thanks to han for asking me to play. It was generous of him, and my canceling at the last moment is not something I am proud of doing.

As I told him, this may be for the best in that I haven't played anything other than social bridge for 16 months, having lost interest in the game. His offer was the first thing to make me want to play again in over a year.

I just read mikeh's message, I hope we'll be able to play in a Cayne match some time in the future.

For this week I hope that I'll be able to find another partner. I'd like to ask my regular partner first, because we have a tournament coming up and we could really use the practice.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Please do ask him. If he is not available, I am.

Sorry Michael, Paul and Alex but I've decided not to play. Hope you can find a suitable fourth.

I have retained the services of a german pair from beyond the forums to partake of this match on our behalf.
