My partner ibraves and I would like a chance to play. We missed out a few times ago because JEC was having connexion issues. Also is there a thread documenting past teams and scores? Would be an interesting read.

Thanks for playing anyway, and feel free to post the hands in this forum. ;)

Great try guys..really great try.

It looks like the match was on bidding and making games. bbo forums is very proud of your match.

What was the score (and could we please post the final score after each match)?

Thanks a lot Mike - really enjoyed it and we were in the lead for a while!

Score was 69-30 to JEC. Was pretty close till board 18 after which we gave away 3 vulnerable game swings in a row and it was all over. This was my own contribution:

I misled (should lead the Ace by partnership agreements) and so I thought that partner's 10♦ was an unambiguous signal for a ♠ continuation whereas he was just giving reverse count... 13 IMPs away.

If partner has the K, is a spade switch required?

Yeah it was weird that you lead a trump there.
I mean im no one to judge here. We played terribly.
In one board i should just have opened 1NT with all the controls. But no i did not and we had a misunderstanding with our trialbids.
And our defense wasnt the best that day.
Still i think we could easily beat them any other day. The team was good and if we have a change again we will take the victory off the battlefield
