Why would 4H show "6+ hearts; 25+ points"? Shouldn't it just show a really good Michaels hand that has a play for game opposite almost nothing?

Interesting, did you check to see what 3S would have shown? I'm always super careful now with these types of bids before clicking because sometimes there's some huge strength requirement and we end up in a high level like here.
For example, sometimes i'll have a long running minor and want to jump to 3NT after GIB's response and i have a HCP Hand....but cant do that lol.
