LHO leads the 10, 3, K, J. RHO continues A. What's the best matchpoint plan?

The obvious line is to ruff in hand, pull trump (assuming a 3-2 break or 4-1 that you can pick up) ending in dummy and run the diamond 8. This will result in 11 tricks when the lie of the cards is favorable, and you may still escape with 10 tricks when the diamond finesse loses if trump are 3-2.

At IMPs, one might try to play the 10 at trick 2 hoping to set up dummy. But the chances of making 11 tricks on this line seems much less and the chances of making 10 tricks do not seem to be appreciably higher than the first line (if they are higher at all).

What's interesting about this is if I trump the club and pull trump, I might go down if trumps are 4-1, as I have no transportation to my diamonds if the finesse loses.
I'll take the obvious line anyway, an 84% chance is good enough for me.

You have no transportation to your diamonds if the finesse loses on the 2nd round of the suit.
