No. This is an old problem whereby GIB prioritizes showing his 3-card limit raise over showing his own spade suit.

I think the spade situation was fixed, but what about minors? What criteria does GIB use to distinguish between making a 3card limits raise in hearts and bidding 2/1 (as a passed hand) of his minor?

1Major - 3Major(uncontested) - 4+fit and 10-12TP, could be passed hand as also fits 10-12TP. With 3 cards and 10-12 GIB goes through 1NT expecting to jump after, showing it.

If contested, 3Major could vary.
