Here is a stupid hand that i played in a robot tournament. Obviously I should have checked more carefully what GIB thought my bids meant, but it seems strange the way he evaluates my 5 after i initially passed 3.

Anyway I think this is the first time i have ever stopped in a partial, and later after the opponents balances I end up in a slam making.

You mean after you initially passed 2...

This is a well-documented recurring theme for GIB: he "forgets" about your previous passes when determining what your later bids mean.

Yes, but I still gets suprised when GIB forgets my previous passes, no matter how many times i have seen it before.. :)

Despite the funny analysis of your hand- it manages to get to the really good small slam. The problem is the opening of 2- its got three places to play- hearts, clubs and spade- it has too much- its not a defensive hand in nearly purely hearts. Its should have most of its high card points in hearts (10-12 is reasonable for vul against not). Its really a pass as the 1 level isn't a reasonable opening either.

Thanks for reporting. It will be addressed and improved in next update.

It will promise likely 6+ and something below 16-TP/12-16TP as with more GIB/Partner will supposedly bid it already.
