In money bridge my opponent found this out the hard way. GIB takes (one side bidding) 1♣ 1♠ 1NT 3♥ as a signoff with 4 spades and 5+ hearts (nice 1♠ bid partner!) That definition was surely programmed in for an unbid minor but obviously makes no sense for a major.
"What's the big rebid problem? After 1♦ - 1♠, I can rebid 1NT, 2♠, or 2♦."
