2S* - p - 4S - ??
2S was Muiderberg, showing 5 spades and a 4+ minor. What is your call?

However 4N 2-places-to-play might pay dividends.
Over partner's bid, perhaps a correction to 5♥ would show a 6=4 shape (the direct 5♥ a one suiter).
Trust demands integrity, balance and collaboration.

Its the sort of hand where anything could be right. Reverse the colors and I act, but I think the risk reward for acting here is too great.

yeah, at most was an overstatement, especially if partner has spade length, but the sentiment abounds - there is an upper limit on what partner has, and if he has spade length, and thus could have a better hand, then there is a better chance we should be defending.

I have a good hand but i dont think good enough to bid 5♥ at these colors. The suit i am introducing at 5 level red is not even an impressive suit and my side suits dont look like Mike Tyson either. I know bidding 5 could be the winner but sometimes when it is winner pd may get excited too.(or in another hand he may not get excited when he was supposed to)

At the other table there was no preempt and 6H was bid and made. Double loses a lot, pass loses even more and even 5H might still lose a lot.

They have two bites at the club ruff assuming they don't lead the ace of trump; a lightner makes it even more clear, might beat it 2. You lost it at the other table.

I think partner would bid slam, his hand is awesome. I think slam is pretty bad, they will usually have diamonds given that they have more of them and honors in that suit, so I thik the DK will often be off.
