help for me for interesting hand 5°Major diamond 4°

5°Major diamond 4° in tournament duplicate not at couples


Now South what better bid?
Definitely the opponents have the Spades then i can bid 3h simply forzing or 4♥ or 6♦ to prevent the opponents bid♠?

This is a really rough one.

I am strongly tempted to bid an immediate 5♦

  • This used up a lot of space
  • Showing hearts might make it much easier for the opponent's to establish strain
  • I don't want a heart lead against a club or spade contract
  • 6♦X - 4 could be a very bad score (I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that partner has a Heart void which sets 6♠)

We don't have ♠ they do.
Let's make it hard for them to land there.
I bid 3♠ forcing, and expect LHO to fumble, stutter and fluster for 20 seconds then pass. When partner rebids 4♦ or raises to 4♠, I will bid 5♦. If the opponents can unravel this one, I'll tip my hat.
