Since players in MBC frequently claim to play "BBO 2/1", I was looking at the stock convention cards to see what this might mean.

According to the "BBO Advanced 1.3" convention card, over a 2 opening:
2: waiting
2: negative
2: heart positive
2NT: spade positive
3/3: natural positive

According to the "BBO Advanced (2/1 = GF)" convention card, over a 2 opening:
2: waiting
2: negative
2/3/3: natural positive
2NT: heart positive

Alternatively, according to the GIB 2/1 convention card, over a 2 opening:
2: waiting
2/2/3/3: natural positive
2NT: balanced positive

Is it deliberate on the part of BBO that these three are all different?

I think it's intentional. There's no point in having three identical stock CCs, IMO.
