Looks like at some point C and C approved a 1 opening to show spades:

Defense to 1H = spades

It specifies the opening requires five spades, so its not quite Moscito ready.

Glad to see there's some improvement, although it doesn't matter much for me.

But what's so difficult when it's a 4-card opening? Just use 1 as natural and all the rest like standard american (like they suggest now). Only difference is that you lose the pretty worthless mini-michaels...

At some point is correct. It was a while back, Midchart only, and was retracted in the last round of revisions that further gutted anything interesting you can do in Midchart events. You could never play a decent transfer openings system since 1 could only be spades.
