Playing with experts is always stressfull - esp. in case of opening leads where u may create contract making or breaking differencies. Please advice me, what would u do in my place and why:

You are South:
Scoring: IMP

Partner and opps are expert ++
Bidding goes:
1D - p - 1S - p
1NT - p - 2H - p
2S - all pass
what is ur opening lead and why?

4NT - p - 5C - p

A) 4

They are playing a sound contract, in order to beat it we will need something special to happen like shortnening declarer too much in , small is for sure the best way to tackle the suit.

 9

Further explanation on 3 double, or about their Blackwood methods would help, here I am trying that declarer doesn´t ruff too many in dummy.

1) i have 5 hcp and they stopped in 2?... clubs is the unbid suit, partner shd have up to 12, 13 points... i honestly wouldn't think of it at the table, but fluffy's low seems right (i'd lead the A)

2) 2, hoping partner is void... he can't double, in which case i'd lead a diamond i guess, so i'll hope he's void

1) Ace of clubs

2) low trump, if heart is right then they have badly misbid and should be in 7nt despite my warning them hearts are breaking poorly.

The heart high card location doesnt look good. Leading trump here wont help. so you should look elsewhere.

Club is a possibility. Dummy rates to have high card in club and if you underlead from ace, declarer will misguess often than not.

Diamond is another possiblity. Pd has got some cards, but he was very quiet during the auction, why? Pd could have some diamond cards.

My entry is very limited. I must use my opening lead chance to play through the dummy.

I will lead a small diamond, hoping we could get our diamond tricks before they force out pd's heart control.
