opener's double not takeout?

(1) Weird IMO that opener's double of 1♠ shows "2+ spades, 3+ D, 11-21". Robots in East's position mostly chose 2♣ which is weird. Think dbl should be 2- S, 3+H, 4+D, 3+C, and maybe 15+ or 16+ total points?

(2) Think North should bid 1♠, 2♥, 3♥ rather than 2♠, 3♥. 2♥ should show 4+/4+ S/H.
