Playing transfers after 1m (1N) is this good enough to play in 2? V vs. N MP

I think its good enough to X, but transferring does not appeal to me - its not the same as if partner opened 1N, he's not guaranteed to have any heart support.

Definitely not good enough to transfer. I would pass.

Very close between pass and X, but I would pass. Transfering to is horrible IMO.

I'd double, but prefer pass over bidding hearts.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I'd double, but its close.

If we have a heart fit, defending 1N x'd looks tasty. If we don't have a heart fit, I'll be glad I didn't transfer, but maybe we'll still set it. Even then, I would expect some protection for -180 v -200.

Good problem.

I would double but I think pass is ok.
I don't like transfers, I want a bid for both majors, weakish hand here.

I think this hand is worth a DBL of 1 NT. Your side has the balance of the points even if pard is a mimimum.

If pard has a reasonably good opener -- solid 13 or 14 points, LHO may need to do some running. It looks like we've got 2 of the 3 other suits covered.

In any case, 2 may not be a good contract if pard has just a doubleton. That may raise the aura -1 DBLd or down 2 which are terrible matchpoint results. If you had some good s instead of , -- AKxxx -- then there's no problem bidding 2 .

I'm doubling and not afraid of leading a 2nd best against 1nt but if lho pulls it we could really hurt them.

Here's the full hand, I did transfer to for a 13.5/17 board. I don't know what I was thinking, maybe I have too many gadgets :)

Oh, but they are in a lot of trouble if you rip 1N.

Getting an 80% board for a normal partial seems strange. How many did your partner make?

Half the NS field is minus on a routine hand. Imagine how good +300 or +500 would be :)
