I've started to edit the .lin files for the Australian Spring Nationals to include the bidding in the Closed Room which was not broadcast. I also added the other room bidding,using ob command,
which is a nice feature and allows you to see the bidding in both rooms simultaneously. However this feature no longer works in v3.9.3. I'm not sure when it disappeared but it was working up to quite recently.

Would it be possible to resore this feature? Below is an extract from a typical file which shows the command in use.

Let me second this wish. The Other Room Bidding feature is quite useful
for us Vugraph fans.

Here's the story:

I am in the middle of changing the way various information is displayed when a vugraph .lin file is opened. The goal is to make the presentation look the same as it does when you are watching live vugraph on BBO.

With this goal in mind (and also because the stuff at the bottom of the screen was ugly and also due to considerations concerning commented .lin files), I got rid of everything that used to be displayed at the bottom of the screen. This included:

1) The score of the match
2) The result at the other table
3) The names of the players at the other table
4) The auction at the other table

The info in 1) and 2) is now displayed in the same way that it is when you are watching vugraph. Unfortunately I was under time pressure to get 3.9.3 ready before the ACBL Nationals. As a result, I did not get a chance to implement 3) and 4). Here is how it will work:

If you mouse over the other room result, the other room auction (with names of the players at the top) will be displayed in a popup. During a live vugraph broadcast, you will be able to click in this area to bring up the Movie window with the other table's movie displayed.

I still haven't done the work on this yet, but I will do so for next version if at all possible.
