A 3 overcall of a major shows clubs and the other major. Something like that. My dad lives in Copenhagen but prefers to play Michaels or Ghestem.

"Københavnerkonvensjonen"
Used after suit opening:
2NT-two lowest unbid suits
3-highest and lowest unbid suits
3-two highest unbid suits

Pd then places contract or overbid opening suit asking for strength:
Response:
1 step-more than 5 losers
2 steps-5 losers
3 steps-less than 5 losers

Convention was developed by John Trelde sometime in the 60's

It's "konvention" in Danish. "Konvensjon" is Norwegian.
