I think my (flaky) 4♦ bid should show more than "biddable" diamonds.

Second case corrected. The meaning was actually understood, but explanations for both sides were incorrect.

So now the meaning of 3♠ would be : Overcall -- twice rebiddable ♠; 19+ total points
Just for information - 2♠ - Overcall -- 5+ ♠; 12-18 total points

and 3♠ - 4♠ would be : 2+ ♠; 6-11 total points

etc.
