If North doesn't have a way to show six hearts, he should just bid 4♥ over 3N.

If something looks bad, it's the explanation of 3NT, 2-5 in majors. It will be corrected.

GIB treats 4♥ continuation as stronger hand, not just correction of contract.

The Smolen if GIB started with Double ( Stayman ) and later bid 3 in shorter major will limit to 4cards only, so GIB could use with 6+ 4 , but not with 6-5 currently.
