I liked my 3 bid, but GIB chose to double with the North hand. What are GIB's criteria for differentiating between the two bids?

I prefer your call cause it puts more pressure on the opponents
x should be more a hand where you show that suit and likely hood of playing in another
cue bid should be 3 suit take out

too many times playing with GIB you can really bid your suit over 1NT and what it does is it
leaves a transfer or way of opps showing their suits at a lower level, thats why GIBs crappelletti system
is so unworkable.

It happened this morning in MBC, but I left the table before this hand had been played 16 times in my scoring group (it had been played 15 times) so the hand didn't make it to myhands. Yes, most tables were EW 3S= for 140, so I gained a little.
