I have been successful playing BBO on my iPad2. Thought I would share the method with anyone who is interested.

First you will need an app called "iSwifter." This is a free app avaialable through the Apple Store. Download it to your iPad. It is needed to provide the "flash" protocol used by the web version of BBO.

Once you have it, bring it up and you can either do a search on BBO or simply enter the url. www.bridgebase.com/client/client.php

That will take you to the login option. Enter your login info and you are ready to choose a table and start to play. You can chat but it's a bit difficult because you can't see what you're typing as you type.

I also found that a stylus was needed to select the cards as you play since they are pretty close together on the screen and my fingers were just to fat and clumsy to reliably choose the correct card. A stylus helps you solve this problem and can be head for around $10.

I just downloaded the Puffin browser on my new IPAD, and it ran BBO right away. It is available from the IPAD app store.
