I'm a TD only 3 months, by trial-and-error method I learned about how it works (other TD's did not help me, because most still use the windows version). Only now I got to the right information in the forum (by accident) that I was looking for a long time though. So I allow myself to set up this topic.

The link you found is very old. Weren't the Help files useful? There are thorough explanations for all TD functions there. At the top of the page click Help, then scroll down for the section dedicated to TDs and directing tournaments.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough. I mean the Help files on BBO. After you log on the web version, click the HELP button at the top of the page. Directing and tourneys are covered nicely there.
