This shows responder has reasonable values with with hearts and diamonds (think michaels cue-bid), but with longer ♥. Think 5-4, or 6-5.

I see everyone is using 2♠ to show ♠'s. In equality method, 2♦ shows ♠ potentially exposing the psyche.

Full response on this auction are:
  • DBL = balanced hand unsuit for natural 1NT or 3NT, or it shows diamonds
  • 1NT = natural
  • 2♣ = shows HEARTS
  • 2♦ = shows spades, despite them having bid them
  • 2♥ = hearts and diamonds, longer ♥, non-forcing
  • 2♠=micheals, shows longer ♥ plus diamonds, 1RF
  • 2NT = longer ♦ than hearts, 1RF
  • 3♣ = both majors, longer hearts (also psyche exposure)
  • 3♦=spades and diamonds, potential psyche exposure
  • 3♥ = both majors, longer spades, potential psyche exposuree
  • 3♠ = request partner to bid 3NT with club stopper
