Why not lead A or King from AK ? against a suit contract

Ok, the queen of clubs lead is a little baffling. My guess is that GIB is playing for a club ruff and was planning to underlead the hearts to get to partner or something like that.

The troubling play for me is GIB North playing a 2nd hand queen of spades for no reason. GIB randomly plays honors and spot cards when it doesn't think it matters on a double dummy basis. Since we aren't playing double dummy, this is a mistake 99 times out of a 100. When just following suit, why can't GIB be programmed to play the lowest card possible unless there is a specific reason to override?

As I suggested a few days ago, if you want decent play you should rent the advanced bots. They lead K.
