I wouldn't be surprised if they've got a firewall on the servers that blocks connections to weird ports, like the one that BBO uses.

Can you try using this URL? http://www.bridgebas...ent.php?port=80

It forces the client to use the normal port 80, which might get through the block (if that's what it is).

By the way, any privacy concerns with desktop plus? For other uses that is. Love to use it with bbo of course.

it sure looks good usually on virtual machines viruses etc arent aproblem, asfaras them logging yourkey strokes idont know. i just wish someone from bbo wouldwork with me on trying to find out why we cant logon! so far no one from bbo has responded.

it sure looks and feels like it would really be nice to use it for bbo play, havinghad n2ck surgery sitting at desktop monitor isnt comfortable any more.

Barmar works for BBO, O.

Anyway, that company says they have to open a ticket and find out why it doesn't work. This isn't likely to be a bbo issue, btw, but they'll email me when they know more

Their software does not support direct network connections out from their servers (and thus, their streamed desktop ).

They do support "proxy" connections, but BBO does not.

Let me think about this.

edit:
We do see how we could find a way to work with proxies but we're not going to make this a high prio effort for now. We'll revisit at a slightly quieter time.
