BIL Team Olympiad Starts today!

Greetings everyone - the BIL'ers have decided that they can mix it up just like the pros did in Turkey. So, we are having our own Team Olympiad with random hands courtesy of the hand generator (and they are quite interesting). Start time is at 2200 hrs. EST for the 1st two segments with the remaining six to be contested as follows (tentative)

Friday, 19 Nov - 4pm EST, Segments 3 and 4 (after Seg. 4, 75% carryover used)
Saturday, 20 Nov - 4 pm EST, Segments 5 and 6 (Seg. 6 is the start of the barometer scoring - after 6, 50 percent carryover)
Sunday, 21 Nov - 10pm EST, Segments 7 and 8, the big finish.

Come out and encourage these hard-working people as they pursue their little slice of glory. :D

After the end of the first two segments:

Illuminati is ahead by ten imps over the Ladies' Team (mostly ladies).

I = 16 and 14
L = 20 and zero (net score, not total - zeroed out to create balance)

At the end of segment four, carryover formula of 75 percent of the difference will be used, and then scores reset with the carryover shown. Barometer scoring will likely be available for segments 6-8.

Come out and watch the good bridge that is happening with the BIL :D
